“Ladie B”

Brenda Gibbs, A.K.A. Ladie B has been in love with singing since she was a young girl.  As a devoted gospel and inspirational singer with a large array of influences from many genres, there is a uniqueness that is heard in her music.  Her preference is not to label herself with a particular genre, she moves with what God gives her and what speaks to her.  She flows with what comes to her whether it has sounds of traditional gospel and worship, R&B, rap, jazz or Caribbean and dedicates it to God, The Father. She believes all music belongs to the Lord.

Ladie B was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois on the west side and later attended high school on the south side and business school downtown.   She sang for most of her childhood and early adult years. That included church, school, graduations, weddings, women’s conferences and with peers at community events.  One of her cherished highlights is that she had the amazing honor of singing the national anthem at a UFC fight.  

Ladie B has been honored to minister in different states as well as to be interviewed with WIGO 1590, Kross Talk radio podcast, Kingdom Grind Radio,  Jesus loves Hip Hop, Shoutout Atlanta, Ride and Vibe w/ Los and Nina and more.  Ladie B had the incredible opportunity to minister on the Free Life Album with her church, presented by Canton Jones and Cajo Records, released in December 2024 and is now a Stellar Award nominated artist.  She also released her  HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DEBUT ALBUM, I AM REDEEMED on December 27, 2024 and has since won four people’s choice awards through Kingdom Nightlife Awards.   As doors continue to open, she remains grateful and humble as she continues to work towards the things God places on her heart.
